Re: Improvement District Bylaw Review - Bylaw Approvals Survey
The Ministry of Community Services (Ministry) is in the process of reviewing its role in
improvement district bylaw approvals. Attached please find a brief survey from the Ministry
regarding its role in improvement district bylaw approvals. We would appreciate your help in
determining how the approach to bylaw approvals could be modified to best meet client needs.
Please share the information from the survey with all staff and trustees and we request that
all interested parties have the opportunity to provide input. Please use the enclosed envelope
to mail the survey or return fax at (250) 356-1873 before Friday, January 26th, 2007. It is
anticipated that at least two regional workshops will be held in the spring on the outcome
of this process.
